Caught this guy in my backyard (it was in the pool), I know next to nothing about identifying snakes... just a common garter?

I found at a 7-11 a front page photo of Tandy Keenan posing as a caver on the early Saturday version of The Oklahoman. Way to go, Tandy!
The home of redfoot torts: Chief, Wilma, Acorn, Joe
Princess, the cat
One White's tree frog
2 tiger-legged monkey tree frogs
3 fire-belly toads, 2 dart frogs,
3 box turtles, 1 crested gecko.
