Hey guys (as in whomever is going this Saturday), are there any particulars we need to take. I am goin on this one. Also need a time frame and a rendevous point (as in where to meet everyone so I can hitch a ride )

We will be meeting at Johnny Abbott's office in Moore. Take the S. 4th street exit from I-35 in Moore and go about 1/2 mile east to get to the office. It says Coldwell Banker Realty on the sign.

Items to bring would be:
long pants,
snake boots or comfortable walking shoes,
snake hook/tongs,
a couple of snake bags (we can't collect anything, but we may temporarilly capture specimens),
rain gear (just in case),
sun screen,
bug spray,
food or money for food (i'm not sure what the plans are for meals),
snacks for the trip (I will have beef jerky, fruit snacks, and Austin crackers/cookies),
gas money,
drinks (I will have a big ice chest with bottled water and citrus green tea to share with everyone),
hat to keep the sun off,
camera

We never know who all will be going until they show up. We usually have a bunch of people say that they are going, and then not show up. There will probably be about 6 or 7 of us that actually end up going. We will leave at 1:00pm and will be gone until pretty late at night, since the main goal is to look for critters on the preserve at night. I'm guessing that it will probably be after midnight when we get back to Moore.

Okie dokie!!! Just tryin to figure out what to expect and such. I have yet to go on an OCHS group hunt. I'm gonna have some free time on my hands for a while, so I figure I better get out of the house sometime, and this fell at a pretty good time.

I'm gonna need to hitch a ride with someone though. I can get to Johnny's office, but I would rather ride with someone the rest of the way.

Im also going to try and go on this one. (fingers crossed) I know iv'e been super busy lately with work, but I really do want to go! If all else fails I'll just meet up with ya'll later as long as we're not chasing tornadoes at midnight!

Come on Pat. Get your priorities straight . Hopefully you can come on one of the other trips this year. Packsaddle is coming up on June 5th.

I won't be able to come on this herp study trip. Things have been really busy for me w/ graduation stuff and all. I wish the best of luck to those going on the trip. It's too bad that last time we went there we didn't have much success.
